THE DAY

In October, my partner of 20 years and I got married, and yes, contrary to popular belief, it
was a secret AND surprise wedding for @davedumbluck, he literally had no clue!
What better day could we have ever had to look at how beautiful it was on the Butte? Can I say
picturesque? Can I say gorgeous? Dare I say... PERFECT. You had to be there, and since you weren’t let
me share a few choice groups of photos. You will feel like you were there.
Thanks to all the friends (who you will meet) who are now family, you are so loved for all the effort.

THE SET UP

Outside of the perfect day, it seemed (as I wasn’t there yet) the perfect team to get the set up done!
From the start of the Butte, it’s about a 15-minute hike into the hills, not too far to do the set up for a
wedding. On a normal hike, you’d see other hikers, mountain climbers and nature lovers. Today, they
were here too! We were fortunate that the wedding spot was free and clear of any other adventurers.
Honestly, there were a few that watched the wedding and clapped with everyone.
You see that red carpet, it was the red carpet of our future lives, beckoning us to the altar where our
resident officiant waited. Of course, we didn’t see that yet but think of the mind it took to plan and
organize all the details. The table and wine glasses, the roses, the flowers, and the wedding blazers. That
was just the tip of the iceberg but WOW, it was stunning.

I was even surprised when we arrived. I didn’t want @dave to be the only one in shock!

THE FRIENDS

I know you are waiting on the wedding photos, but I wanted to celebrate our #friends. These beautiful
people are the ones that made the wedding happen. Did I tell you I wanted to surprise Dave at the
county courthouse and getting married? Well, I was. We were going to walk in, get the paperwork, and
get it done.

But these people banded together to say, “NO!, dumbass, have a real wedding” So we did.

Thanks mofos! You made our year!

THE WEDDING
